Three years ago today, my life as I knew it completely changed. Our country was in utter turmoil & I was righteously angry. We had just witnessed the unjust murder of George Floyd & people everywhere flocked to the streets protesting, rioting, hurting. I didn’t know what, but I knew something had to be done. I assembled a small team in a studio in Austin, TX, we all shared the same mission: help our country find peace. I sat in front of a camera, closed my eyes and when I opened them, spoke for 9 mins 27 seconds straight, but more importantly, you all listened and Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man was born. Since then, Uncomfortable Conversations has amassed over 100M views. People have watched, listened, learned and had the uncomfortable but necessary conversations needed to grow.
