Move over, Mayor and Council - there’s a new generation ready for the dais! 🎤 Venice High School students spent Wednesday’s annual Student Government Day getting a behind-the-scenes look at what department directors, staff, Charter Officers, the Mayor and City Council do to keep Venice running. Then they put their new skills to the test in a lively mock City Council meeting. No official projects were passed, but plenty of leadership skills were on display. 👏 The future looks bright! 😎 #StudentGovernmentDay #LoveVeniceFL #FutureLeaders #VHS
