All lines of longitude meet at the geographic South Pole, making it impossible to assign a unique local solar time based on longitude alone. In principle, every time zone reaches this point. Antarctic research stations therefore choose a time standard for practical reasons, often based on their supply connections or operational requirements. Walking a few metres does not meaningfully change the Sun's position or create a different natural time zone.
