We honor the people and ancestors who survived colonization, violence, removal, and erasure, and celebrate the Indigenous artists, organizers, educators, culture-bearers, families, and neighbors building new futures today.
The Broad is on the homelands of the Tongva and is surrounded by the lands of the Tataviam, Kizh, and Chumash Peoples, all of whose presence, cultures, and stewardship of this land continue to this day.
