The Breaking Bad family is mourning RJ Mitte following his death aged 34 💔
Mitte was just 14 when he met Bryan Cranston and went on to play Walter White Jr. across all five seasons of the hit series.
Like his character, Mitte had cerebral palsy. Away from acting, he became a passionate disability rights advocate, using his platform to challenge stereotypes and push for authentic representation in Hollywood.
Cranston described him as his “sweet son” and said he was in “deep despair” over the news. He revealed they had exchanged messages just weeks earlier and were planning to meet for lunch.
Aaron Paul said, “RJ, I love you my friend,” while Dean Norris remembered him as “a sweetheart of a young man”.
His legacy reaches far beyond Breaking Bad. Rest in peace, RJ ❤️
