This is the comeback we've been waiting for 🔥 Sicario 3 is officially in the works, with Emily Blunt, Benicio del Toro and Josh Brolin all set to return to the crime thriller franchise. The original 2015 film followed FBI agent Kate Macer as she joined a covert operation targeting Mexican drug cartels, becoming caught up in a dangerous world where the line between right and wrong was increasingly blurred. Blunt was absent from the 2018 sequel, Sicario: Day of the Soldado, making her reported return particularly exciting for fans of the original. Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight is set to write the screenplay, with filming potentially beginning in early 2027. Further plot details and an official release date have yet to be confirmed. #Sicario #EmilyBlunt #LADbible
