A new mural in #Anaheim is honoring the life and legacy of 13-year-old Mia Mejia while raising awareness about bullying and youth suicide prevention. Mia died by suicide in March of 2025. Her parents say relentless bullying at school contributed to her death, and they have since worked to keep her memory alive while encouraging greater kindness and compassion in their community. The new “Kindness Mural” at Barton Park is a bittersweet tribute. #orangecounty
