Saw this on djblown page and had to re-share and snag it, I absolutely rather remove the fake energy from my life, I played theater kid my entire life, making my parent "proud" doing what others wanted, saying yes to things I really in my heart and soul didn't want to do just for the small moments of feeling accepted or thinking they were my friend. I realized later sadly I had to beat to my own drum, make my own path forward, go down the trail that was less traveled and learn "NO" was a good thing, you can't succeed if you never ask, if you never take the first step, if you never take a chance on you and that's why Liked, hated, being talked shit about, is unwavering to me. I know my authenticity, I know what I stand for and what isn't worth my energy. To those who walk with me as a team, a path less traveled together, to all my artist who took a chance on them.
