At 11:23 a.m., Ann Arbor Public Schools Superintendent Jeanice Swift sent an email communicating that all after-school activities are canceled in AAPS today March 3 due to a winter storm warning. This includes rec and ed.
“AAPS middle and high schools will dismiss at the regular time, and will use an expedited process for transportation with buses departing schools a few minutes ahead of schedule,” Swift wrote. “As is always the case, parents who have any concerns about inclement weather forecasted may pick up their students early. We ask all families to arrange to have their students picked up promptly today by the dismissal time, as it is also important to ensure a safe end-of-day departure for our school teams.”
