FIND QUIET ICE. FINISH BEFORE THEY RESET. 🏒 An attack from behind the net becomes dangerous when the passer’s spacing and the shooter’s timing connect. With SFU Red Leafs Hockey, we’re working on delivering the puck into the white zone for a quick release. The passer stays clear of the goalie crease to maintain room to deliver. The shooter adjusts into quiet ice, pops into the passing lane and presents the blade ready to finish. COACHING POINT: Find the lane before the puck arrives. Prepare your feet, hands and blade so you can release immediately—on and off the blade—before coverage closes and the goalie resets. Space creates the pass. Timing creates the shot.
