Trauma bonding is a real thing lol. 🥹❤️ I’ve bonded with so many of you through your stories, and I can’t tell you how much it means to me that you’ve been kind and vulnerable enough to share them with me. Being a songwriter who writes and sings her own songs is such a vulnerable place to live in. My songs are so personal that sometimes it feels like I’m letting the whole world read pages straight out of my diary. And when you open yourself up like that, you’re not just sharing the good parts. You’re sharing the heartbreak, the mistakes, the lessons, and the parts of your life you had to fight like hell to get through. And yes, sometimes that comes with hateful comments, judgment, and people who don’t understand why you’d ever want to share those things publicly. But then I read your stories.
