Former President Barack Obama is back in Iowa Senate candidate Josh Turek’s corner, appearing in a second campaign ad for the Democrat. Obama first endorsed Turek in July with a video of the two shooting hoops, where Obama admitted he got “whooped.” Turek, a state representative and two-time Paralympic gold medalist in wheelchair basketball, is running for the seat held by retiring Sen. Joni Ernst against Republican U.S. Rep. Ashley Hinson, who has Trump’s endorsement. Obama carried Iowa in both 2008 and 2012.
