It would be impossible to reflect on 2021 and not discuss Ike. As children, Max, Ike, and myself would play basketball every single day in their driveway until our hands and the sky were both black. Ike was the little brother that would go inside when he lost too many times, but I’d like to think that those times helped mold him into the hooper that he became. The way I saw him play in 2021 gave me no doubt that his next season was going to be a memorable one. Ike unexpectedly passed away in the summer. While I miss him all of the time, I have received confirmation that Ike is in paradise with his creator; I know that I will see him again!
