When Kobe Bryant and LeBron James faced off in 2009 at the Staples Center, Mamba was there to make an impression. He dislocated his finger early on in the game but wasn’t going to leave the court. Shying away from a big time matchup like that wasn’t in his vocabulary. These two highly contested shots over LBJ in the fourth were just the icing on the cake. Cold blooded like he always was. Kobe finished with 23/6/12 in the 105-88 win over the Cavs, while LeBron put up 23 points and 9 boards himself. A timeless battle that absolutely lived up to expectations. - @crssd for more basketball content! - shiftbostonian/X, dawkinsmta/X - #nba #kobe #lebron
