Work-Life Balance Doesnt Exist… But LV came Pretty Close. The top question I get from executives and hard charging people like us is: “How do you deal with work life balance?” The truth? It doesn't exists. What does exist is work life harmony. When youre Type A, even our spare time gets filled with work. And when there is no work, we feel stagnant. Thats just who we are. What Ive learned is this: There is no perfect time. We have to steal the time whenever we can. Last week in LV, heather__john and I did exactly that. Ive been to LV more than 200 times over the past 35 yrs, and for the first time, I experienced it like a tourist. Heather came out to meet me, and We made it happen.
