This month, we are Baking with Pride and celebrating the global movement that is Pride! 🏳️‍🌈 The first London Pride took place on 1 July 1972 with an attendance of around 2,000 people - now over 1,000,000 LGBTQIA+ people and allies attend the parade in England's capital every year. LGBTQIA stands for: lesbian; gay; bisexual; transgender; queer or questioning; intersex; and asexual, aromatic or agender. The + (sometimes seen as a *) is inclusive of 'others' in the community of all identities and orientations. Gift someone you love a rainbow treat this month, have a look at these cute Rainbow Madeleines from MasterClass!
