Preservation Society Members and ticketed visitors to the Chinese Tea House at Marble House can now purchase a seasonal selection of freshly prepared sandwiches and salads, as well as snacks and beverages while dining either at outdoor tables with umbrellas on the adjacent patio or – on days like today – indoors. The Chinese Tea House will be closed May 1-26, when HBO will film scenes at Marble House for Season 2 of Julian Fellowes’ “The Gilded Age.” #NewportMansions #marblehouse #chineseteahouse #gildedagehbo #gildedagemansion #gilded
