The Breakers and Elms are Open again. And as we prepared for our long-awaiting reopening Thursday, our Director of Gardens and Grounds, Jeff Curtis, was busy planting English ivy around the base of a bay tree in one of the 30 large planters now lining the entrance drives of The Breakers. The barrel-like cedar planters were fabricated by workers in our Properties Department and are 37 inches wide and 37 inches tall.
