Newport Mansions Creativity Corner Each Friday, we will have a new art project. This week, let’s design a landscape for one of the Newport Mansion properties, or create a make-believe garden landscape. Maybe try using your own backyard as inspiration! What you need: · Images of Newport Mansions garden landscapes on your computer or mobile device · A view of your backyard or maybe a view of a local park · Paper · Pencils, Pens, Markers, Crayons, or Colored Pencils What to do: · Brainstorm: o Will your garden be make-believe? Will you redesign one of the properties gardens or will you add to its current garden? o What kind of trees, bushes, topiaries, and flowers will you add? o Do you want a water feature? (Fountain, pond, creek, etc.) o Do you want any little buildings in your garden?
