As the 28th Annual Newport Symposium approaches (April 16-18), we look forward to hearing preeminent experts like Eve Kahn, whose lecture, “Forever Seeing New Beauties: Mary Rogers Williams,” will address the life and work of one of America's most accomplished yet least-known Gilded Age female artists. A noted historian and journalist best known for her weekly Antiques column that ran in The New York Times from 2008 to 2016, Kahn is also a writer, scholar and exhibition adviser who specializes in art, architecture, design and preservation. She is a magna cum laude graduate of Harvard University and lectures regularly in New York, New England and elsewhere. Adding to her accolades, Kahn is also an accomplished author.
