“Rasputin” by Boney M is a wildly infectious disco classic that blends historical storytelling with irresistible dance-floor energy. Released in 1978, the song transforms the story of the Russian mystic Grigori Rasputin into a playful, larger-than-life folk tale set to pounding beats, string stabs, and a chorus that sticks instantly. Its blend of disco, Euro-pop, and folk influences gives it a distinctive sound that still feels fresh and fun. The track’s theatrical delivery and memorable “Ra-Ra-Rasputin” hook make it both humorous and iconic. Decades later, it remains a party staple and a beloved gem of the disco era. #BoneyM #Rasputin #DiscoClassic #70sMusic #EuroDisco #IconicHits #MusicReview #DanceFloorAnthem #ThrowbackVibes #timelesstune Disclaimer: We do not own rights to the audio/video.
