"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This was our first visit to Southport and we were pleasantly surprised. The arrival procedure for Covid compliance was smooth considering how many units were queuing to get on site. Our pitch was on the newer part of the site which we really liked with its open aspect and the fact that the central grass area was being allowed to grow attracting plenty of wildlife. Although there was some road noise it wasn't intrusive to us. The facilities were clean and social distancing was in place and we felt safe. A good location for visiting NationalTrust at Speke Hall, Formby and Crosby to mention but a few and brilliant cycling paths well signed and various routes, and walks too. Very easy for super markets - Morrisons being within walking distance.
