Even though our water pump had broken before we arrived, we wouldn't have wished the site to be any different. The running of the site is a credit to Isobel and Philip and they were both very helpful and sympathetic to the problems we were experiencing. Located in the Eden Valley of Carlisle, the campsite is set against a backdrop of the lovely High Stand Forest. Recent reports show that the number of red squirrels in the area has increased, so you may be lucky to see some during your visit.
