During times of adversity, many people find strength from events which have happened in the past to help us become more resilient today. On today we mark 75 years since VE Day and whilst we need to put on hold the celebrations we had planned, we wanted to share with you some Second World War history from our archives. During the war the Club adopted a supporting role, providing a wealth of technical tips to an influx of new members on how to make their outfits safe from the enemy - not unlike our role in the current climate. By the end of the war, membership had risen by over 200 new recruits and members were able to again enjoy life on the road. Looking at these photos, it's reassuring to see the sense of community was as strong then as it is today. How are you celebrating #VEDay?
