"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This was our first time to the site and we were amazed how lovely the site was alongside the river Barle and yet virtually in the town of Dulverton. Dulverton provides many shops, cafes, tearooms and other facilities a very short walk from the site. There is also daily local bus service with stops very close to the site that can take you as far as Taunton in one direction or Minehead in the other. The range and scope of walks from the site is amazing, many of the alongside the river.
