HYROX PRO NYC 🏁 1:11:22 - 1st u24 / 8th overall 🥇 Kicking off the 23/24 season just two weeks after WC was not my intentions but this is the only HYROX event that's in my home state (kinda). The Meadowlands is also where I ran my first race back in October. So, it was a no brainer that I had to toe the line. If you raced NYC or saw the course map, you'd see that it's an unfavorable 4.25 laps per 1km. My total run time took a hit (+1:29 of WC) because of the additional turns and more congestion on a smaller course. I finished my fourth HYROX, second Pro race, in 1:11:22 (+2:10 of WC). I was able to win my age group (8th overall) which punches my ticket to the 2024 World Championship.
