In 2020, Vitinha joined Wolves on a season-long loan with an option to buy for £17m. Wolves turned down the option to sign him. The midfielder initially joined the club after his parent club Porto were under financial pressure to make sales. Many of Porto’s fans were dismayed to see the 20-year-old midfielder leave. He joined a stacked midfield alongside his fellow Portuguese countrymen Joao Moutinho and Ruben Neves who were coach Nuno Espirito Santo’s first choice for much of the season. He spent most of the season playing out of position in the number 10 role and made only 22 appearances all season. At the end of the season, Wolves fans were split over whether they wanted to sign him on a permanent basis as though his technical ability was clear to see, he struggled to adapt to the intensity of the Premier League. He returned to Porto before moving to PSG in 2023 and went on to become one of the best midfielders in the world. #vitinha #psg #footballtiktok
