In 2007, Pedro was playing for Barça’s C team when the club decided to dissolve the team. At the time he wasn’t considered a great future prospect and was on the verge of leaving Barcelona before he was spotted by Pep Guardiola. Pep, who was managing Barça B at the time, gave Pedro a chance after being impressed by his work ethic and mentality. He helped the team get promoted in his first season and when Guardiola became Barca’s first-team manager he took Pedro with him. He worked tirelessly in his role as a rotation player and became a crucial contributor to the legendary Barcelona teams, scoring in the 2011 Champions League final. He left Barcelona in 2015 after winning 5 La Liga’s, 3 Copa Del Rey’s and 3 Champions League’s titles after being just days away from never playing a senior game for Barcelona. #pedro #barcelona #footballtiktok
