Virgil Van Dijk has written his name into football history… but he’s never forgotten his roots. Born and raised in Breda in The Netherlands, this is where he developed his passion’s outside of football. Fashion and music, which he got by hearing afro beats in his local barbershop. 🎶 He’s been giving back to his community too, by opening a personalised ‘Cruyff Court’ back in his hometown in 2023, making sure that where it all began for him can also be the start of journeys for the next generation of ballers. ❤️🙏🏽 One of the best players on the pitch, and one of the cleanest off it… We’re Going Global this summer with @JBLeurope/@JBL. We had to show the area that made VVD. 📍 #VirgilVanDijk #VanDijk #Risingballers #football
