Gilberto Rafael Mora Zambrano. Your name will be remembered for generations to come. Officially the youngest player after Pelé to start a World Cup knockout game and he just KO’d Ecuador out of the tournament. The teen from Tuxtla Gutiérrez became the man of the moment for Mexico on the biggest of stages. Even received a standing ovation for how he made grown men bow at his knees. Controlling the tempo and making grown men pass the pad as he rewrote history. Forget youngest in charge. This junior jefe put on a masterclass that his seniors couldn’t even comprehend. Pozole Platini. Jarritos Johan Cruyff. El Santo Socrates. Forget about one for the future. He has right now. #football #worldcup #gilbertomora #mora #mexico
