Started the week off strong with a PR front squat. I had been stuck at 210 for over 2 years and finally hit 215. That made me happy
That was actually the only lifting I did this week
After Monday my body was extremely sore. My period is coming next week & my body usually feels the effects around this time. I’ve also been following a strength program since Feb 1st and never took a deload week 😵💫
My body told me it needed one, so I listened 🔑
I also took an extra rest day this week & Fridays workout was a lot of stretching & very light movement.
So overall I had 3 full workout days this week. Monday, Wednesday & this morning.
My body is feeling a lot better and my muscles definitely feel less tight.
It’s okay to listen to your body!
Rest day tomorrow & then onto a new week 💪
