After being down in the top of the third inning, the first two hits for Oregon were solo home runs by Jacob Walsh and Bennett Thompson, making it 8-2. Bennett Thompson hit a three-run home run in the next inning and erased the deficit to three. Drew Smith's solo home run in the sixth inning made it 8-6.
