To our feline fans, we hear you. 🐱 Why all the dog posts? 🐱 Where are the police cats at? Whilst we don’t have a specialist cat unit (and aren’t announcing one anytime soon), we do occasionally have cause to have a quick cuddle with our feline friends. These Protective Service Officers (PSOs) were patrolling Sunshine Railway Station when commuters alerted them to the sounds of a distressed kitten nearby. After a search through an overgrown garden bed, it was taken safely into custody at Sunshine Railway Station. The kitten was fed and showered with love before it was delivered to a vet for a check-up and to find its forever home. Another rewarding (and different!) day on the job for our PSOs, who keep commuters safe. Interested in a role that helps the local community? A career as a PSO might be for you!
