Today Air Ambulance Victoria (AAV) is celebrating 60 years of world-class pre-hospital care. Victoria Police Air Wing has always had a close relationship with AAV. In fact, until 2016 we even shared a Dauphin aircraft! Sixty years have flown by and AAV’s fleet has grown to four fixed-wing planes and five helicopters (HEMS), providing a vital link between rural communities and metropolitan health services. From everyone at Victoria Police, especially Air Wing, we’d like to thank our fellow pilots and emergency service members at Air Ambulance Victoria for their tireless work assisting our communities. Happy 60th AAV! ambulancevic #AirAmbulanceVictoria #AirWing #AviationPhotography #Aircraft #Dauphin
