Today Chief Commissioner Graham Ashton stood beside 1800RESPECT Ambassador Jimmy Bartel to launch the Stand Together against Domestic and Family Violence campaign.
The campaign coincides with the 16 Days of Action against Gendered Violence global campaign which begins on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women on 25 November. The 16-day campaign asks people from around the world to stand up and take action for a world where women and children feel safe in their homes and communities.
1800RESPECT is the National Sexual Assault Domestic Family Violence Counselling Service. It is a confidential online and telephone counselling, information and referral service available 24/7.
