It has become quite trendy to hate on Formula One Las Vegas. The F1 2023 season was incredibly disruptive closing down access to major tourist destinations and backing up traffic for more than 9 months. I was among those unhappy with this massive event and the chaos surrounding it. However, it’s important to give credit where credit is due and just thirty days after the 2024 Grand Prix, the Vegas Strip is business as usual. All infrastructure has been removed and pedestrian access to the Bellagio Fountains has been restored. I have been converted from a skeptic to a race fan and I applaud the efforts to get Vegas back to “normal” as quickly as possible.
