This event is a joint effort and collaboration brought to you by tourismwinnipeg and travelmanitoba. I really appreciate the opportunity to create a design that helps promote our great city and province. - It was a goal to create an aesthetic that would be balanced between both organizations. An abstract and contemporary approach was taken while designing this concept. Using digital map markers or pins as inspiration, a flower in the logo was formed, intended to represent a Crocus flower, which is Manitoba’s official flower. The support graphics are an abstract interpretation of Manitoba’s landscape that was intended to support the contemporary feel of the logo, while still contributing an energetic and bold aesthetic to the event.
