I’ve LOST MY KNUCKLES- FOR REAL, GONE, y’all...the South! A red wasp stung me in the hand yesterday. My hand is itchy, on fire, and about to POP swollen! Growing up in California, we had a fly here or there. Bare feet in the grass 100% of the time (no ants), steam rollers down every grass hill we ever came across, we would be out past dark 99% of the time (no mosquitos). I never even knew what bug spray was!?! DUDE, it’s NO joke down here, ants, fire ants, gigantic ants, mosquitos, every type of wasp there is, red bugs (these y’all... they get under your skin & live inside of you?!?), poison ivy, itchy grass, stickers in the grass... way too many things. I do love it down here, but man you have to be on top of your game.
