This simple 5 out play can be run against any zone defense. The key (as with any 5 out offense) is to keep moving - move quickly, pass quickly, no standing around. I even like to put my best passer as the middle flasher too. What's the one thing that every defensive player does in a zone when the ball goes to the middle? They turn their head to look at the ball. That's a great opportunity for back door cuts or cuts to open space - especially with a good passer in the middle. PLAYER RESPONSIBILITIES: Positions are completely interchangeable. Top of Key: Run the offense, can exchange with wing player when ball is in corner. Wing Player: If ball goes to wing then opposite wing flashes middle. Corners: Fill wing spot when wing flashes middle. Keep ball moving, only dribble to improve floor balancing, passing angles or to beat defender. #BasketballCoaching #BasketballPlays #YouthBasketball #HighSchoolBasketball #ZoneOffense
