A test that has gained near mythic status among Civil War buffs for its degree of difficulty and slim passing rate is being offered for the first time in nearly four score and seven months. The National Park Service in December will administer the exam for the elite Gettysburg National Military Park tour guides. The test, last given in 2017, requires an encyclopedic knowledge of the 1863 battle, as well as a firm grasp of the lead-up to the war and its aftermath. 📷: Greg Kahn for WSJ, Getty Images Host/Reporter: James Fanelli Producer: @jacob.ohara #gettysburg #civilwar #nps #nationalpark #History #americanhistory #wsj
