Skiing in Japan has been a dream of mine ever since I was a kid and saw my first ski movie. But never in a million years did I imagine I’d be skiing this country’s infamous powder fields and glades on my own art work. I had to remind myself many times to look up for staring at my skis so I didn’t miss the scenery. Traveling to Japan has been a beautiful reminder that the joy of skiing is a shared language, spoken by people of all ages, genders, and nationalities. I feel a deep gratitude for the privilege of not only skiing these mountains but also for being welcomed into the heart of the Japanese culture 🎌 どうもありがとうございます I can not wait to return someday.
