Did you know I use pressed flowers when I sun print? 🌿 I’ve had a lot of requests lately to share more of my process so here’s a quick clip of me setting up a custom order jacket to expose. This person requested lots of flowers and ferns! So how does it work? This jacket has been prepped with the Cyanotype solution and dried over night. The green area you see is where the solution has been painted on, and where the blue color be after exposure & wash. Think of the flowers as a stencil, any where the light doesn’t touch will just wash away leaving the truly one of a kind floral pattern.
