Viking just docked in Cleveland for the first time — and we were there to check it out today.
🛳️ We boarded the newly built Polaris, which stopped in Cleveland as part of the Great Lakes Collection 15-day cruise.
🛳️ The boat holds 378 guests and 256 crew members — a ratio that equals impeccable service.
🛳️ Starting at about $12,000 per person, this cruise is pure luxury — and adults only.
🛳️ The Polaris spends winters in Antarctica and summers on the Great Lakes. It was made just wide enough to navigate the Welland Canal in Ontario and the Drake Passage.
🛳️ The Polaris is also a research vessel that continuously monitors water quality, including micro plastics.
🛳️ Special touches include a “Snow Grotto” in the spa, a hidden speakeasy and a submarine named George — one of more than two dozen vessels available for exploring.
