San Diego is well aware of the impact that nature has on our health. The smiles that are abundant here are cold-hard proof that we are in fact solar-powered. Local’s days are planned around the sunset— and for these girls, they plan their baseball schedule around their surfing one. But I want to know, is it the nature that’s so healing and restorative or is it the fact that we do these activities together? After this interview, I’m going to argue to say that it’s both.⁣ ⁣ Yes, baseball may bring us all together- but it’s who we are before, during, and after the game that makes us family.
