Petra Amossen of Team Kalaallit Nunaat broke the women’s world record in two-foot high kick with a height of 203.2cm(6’8”) on Tuesday at the Arctic Winter Games in Whitehorse. Traditionally, the two-foot high kick was used by Inuit hunters to signal a successful hunt as they returned from out on the ice. #CBCSports #CBCIndigenous #AWG2026 #Whitehorse2026 #ArcticWinterGames
