🇲🇽💀🌸 Even though we live over 2,000 miles from Mexico, my students feel more connected to its beautiful culture thanks to

Esperanza doll. In our NJ Spanish classroom, Esperanza brings Día de los Muertos to life with her calavera (skull) face paint inspired by La Catrina, vibrant flower crown of marigolds and carnations, and Tehuana-inspired dress from Oaxaca — symbols of strength, beauty, and cultural pride.
Through Esperanza, we explore Spanish vocabulary, the meaning of ofrendas (altars), marigolds, and other traditions that honor family, love, and remembrance. She’s a hands-on way to make culture and language real, sparking curiosity and respect in every lesson. 🕯️✨
Our Generation has been inspiring kids since 1994 with high-quality dolls and accessories that celebrate diversity, inclusion, and self-expression. Their dolls go beyond play — they tell stories, reflect different cultures, and help children learn about the world in fun and engaging ways.
