🧗 🪨 Was exploring a cave and gem mining on your list of summer adventures? lincolncaverns was truly an experience to treasure combining nature, history, and science. 💭 This is one of those nostalgic family bonding days that make you think “I know I did something like this when I was a kid” and you recreate the moment. 🚶‍♀️ The tour lasted an hour and we learned so much as we observed the natural beauty of the crystal caverns. Some areas are steep or narrow but it’s a slow leisurely walk making it enjoyable for all ages. (Not stroller accessible) We looked out for cave bacon 🥓 and cave popcorn 🍿 keeping it fun for the kids. 💎 Panning for real gems in an authentic sliuce was definitely a favorite 😍 The girls loved hands on activity and identifying where they come from around the world. 🌎 🥾 🧺 You can also hike and picnic turning this into a full day outing.
