After pulling in over $800 million worldwide, 'Rush Hour' is officially coming back. A fourth film is moving forward with Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker expected to return — the first installment since 2007. Paramount will distribute the movie on behalf of Warner Bros in a rare studio partnership. The project had been shopped across town, with several studios passing before rights landed with Eagle Pictures and original producer Arthur Sarkissian. The deal arrives as Paramount’s David Ellison remains one of the bidders for Warner Bros Discovery. For Hollywood, it’s another legacy comedy-action series reentering the market during a moment when audiences are responding to familiar franchises. After recent box office wins like 'Bad Boys: Ride or Die,' studios are betting that the Chan–Tucker chemistry still has global and nostalgic pull.
