Two whole months in the NICU… and it’s finally GRADUATION DAY! 🥹🎓💙 6/21 😭 At 28 weeks & 3 days, I gave birth to William & Waylon, weighing just 2 lbs 9 oz each. The boys were born 20 mins apart 12:05 pm and 12:25pm. For a brief moment, the L&D team let me hold my boys before they were rushed away to the NICU. I remember thinking they’d be there for just a few weeks… never imagining those few weeks would turn into 65 days. There were so many moments of uncertainty, tears, prayers, and questions. But through every high and low, our faith carried us 🙏🏽 Being a NICU parent is not for the faint of heart. It changes you. By the end of this journey, you walk away with a deeper level of faith, a new kind of empathy, and an appreciation for just how much strength it takes to bring life into this world.
