Arthur’s Seat is BEAUTIFUL…and also a real hike 😅 - Climbing Arthur’s seat is definitely one of the best things to do in Edinburgh, Scotland - you can see the entire city in all its beauty! I’m sooo glad I chose to wear my hiking boots on a whim - because this isn’t as easy a stroll as many people told me… poor dexter in those dress shoes 😬 the post-rain slipperiness of the mud and rocks was real, y’all. definitely doable for all ages, I would just make sure you are wearing the right footwear, and leave yourself ample time if you’re not super confident in your feet - I saw multiple people in sneakers slipping! - As you climb higher, the dirt/gravel path starts to disappear and the minor rock scrambling begins. there are beautiful viewpoints right below where the real climbing starts, and all the way up too - so dont feel like you have to summit if you arent comfortable with that! Again, not suuuuper intense, but not fun if you are not wearing the proper footwear. - you WILL work u...
